In my role, I act as a link between administration and staff. I provide training and support to staff, families, and students regarding safety issues. I work closely with school leaders to create and reinforce policies and procedures that foster a safe and organized learning environment. My duties include investigating student incidents based on the Chancellor’s Regulations. Also, I generate, maintain, and update reports in the Online Occurrence Reporting System, which helps reduce incidents and accidents. I hold meetings with administrators, students, and parents or guardians to discuss concerns and find helpful solutions. Additionally, I manage procedures for student lunch programs, including seating arrangements, recess activities, club coordination, school aide management, and overall safety enforcement. I also introduce new student initiatives that have led to further reductions in school incidents.
